Official Description
StreetPass Mii Plaza is the place where Mii characters meet and greet! When StreetPass communication is activated, you can exchange Mii data, recent gameplay info, and more with other Nintendo 3DS owners you pass on the street when your Nintendo 3DS system is in Sleep Mode. You'll then be able to see these Mii characters in the plaza the next time you start playing.

A hub for StreetPass content!StreetPass is when the 3DS is in sleep mode and you pass someone else locally who also put their 3DS in sleep mode.Content such as Miis, Sound Data, and Software Data get exchanged.To keep things fresh, two games are available, Puzzle Swap and Find Mii.In Puzzle Swap, every time you StreetPass with someone, a new puzzle piece is added to your collection! Gradually complete puzzles based on hit Nintendo games!In Find Mii, you hire Miis gained from StreetPass to help save your Mii from the clutches of evil. Alternatively, you can use Play Coins gathered from walking with the 3DS in Sleep Mode to hire weaker generic Miis.
